Why I post about atheism
by nvrgnbk inoftentimes the accusation is made that there is some sort of conspiracy on jwd amongst the atheists to convert, humiliate, spit on, or otherwise degrade the believers.
it's been suggested that their tone is condescending and arrogant.. it's hinted at that they're angry and bitter about their own lives and want to take it out on god and his humble servants.. others think it's all just an excuse to lead what they judge to be a morally depraved life.. regardless of what we believe about god's existence or lack thereof, most rational adults understand that when we attempt to judge the motives of others we can miss by a mile.. so here's the reason i post about the topic of atheism.... i was born as one of jehovah's witnesses, fourth generation.
i was being indoctrinated with jehovah while i was still in the womb.

Elders: How long did active JW hide their sins b4 confessing their sins?

that’s a very open-ended question. Depend what you call sins, going to a Forum like this is grounds for Disfellowshipping, and I am still a JW who go's to most meetings.
Also, as far as morals is concerned, I'm sure there are many who do immoral things without confessing, even common things like Masturbating, as far as sex is concerned, people do what they think they can get away with.
I personal heard of a pioneer sister who was having sex with 2 brothers in the congo for 4 years before she was found out.
I have heard of times when a public talk has being given regarding ‘concealing sins’ and then out of fear and guilt some go running to the elders confessing pass or present sins.
So, really the answer to your question would have be "many years"

I liked Mr Majestic’s one, i find that one the funniest so far...
Her solution was quite an easy one. This is what she said in all seriousness. (I kid you not)
"Maybe we can actually fly and we just haven’t worked out how to yet. All we need is to be shown by Jehovah".
My comment on that ....Maybe God will show us how to use our farts as Jet Propulsion, hahaha.
My personal experience wasn’t a funny one but here it is.. I helped out a Sister who was having trouble with an Elder, this Elder didn’t like me helping her out, since it was him that was giving her a hard time. but cutting to the chase, the C/O got involved, he said to me... " if the Elders couldn’t help her, you shouldn’t have..." nice comment eh????? Speaks volumes about their love. After that I started to look at the internet, I should thank him.

During wars, tragedies and disasters’ humans are capably of such bravery and courage towards other humans, and yet these brave ones can be humble and quite people, men, women, young or old.
Its the nicer side of humans that we don’t heard enough of.

Questions About Judicial Committees
by DT ini disassociated so i was never involved in a judicial committee.
i have a few questions.. 1. the accused is not allowed to take notes.
however, i have heard that the elders sometimes take notes.

How can anyone expect to be treated properly, fairly and legally, think about it, they have the Elders book and one else is allowed to read it, how can anyone be sure that the elders are doing things the proper way, they have no choice but to take their word for it, the elders made the rules as they go, and no one can question them because on one else has the elders book.
It would be funny if it wasn’t so true.

It is what must be expected they’ll say to a non JW, but as one who still go’s to meeting and most of his associates are active JW’s, many are very happy about it, and relieved about having an extra free night, I have not heard one JW’s say anything negative about it, they are all happy about it.
It’s a bit of a joke because the WTS has always taught us that the BS arrangement will be the only way the Brothers will be able to communicate with each other when the tribulation starts, it will be by the BS arrangement that we will get our instructions and know where to meet next.
I suppose Jehovah’s now feels that we don’t need that arrangement anymore.
As far as the end getting nearer is concerned, it is true that every day we are one day closer to the end of this system, but it will be no thanks to the WTS.
